Transition

Transition to a new school is an important step and Chasetown Community School provides support for children who are ready to move into a new educational setting. This includes Transition reviews, visits and taster days at other schools.

 Transition reviews

At the end of year 6 and 8 Pupils will have a Transition review to help parents and carers discuss the next step in their child's education. These reviews are a chance for both parents/carers and key school staff to consider the progress that the child has made towards meeting outcomes and to state which setting we feel will be most appropriate for the next school year.
