School Meals and Breakfast club
Please be aware that due to the continued effect of inflation and rising food costs, our school meal provider, Edwards and Ward will be increasing the price of a child’s school meal. From April 2024 the cost will increase to £2.95 per meal or £14.75 for a whole week. Students who are in receipt of Free School Meals will continue to receive them without any change. Edwards and Ward will continue to monitor inflation and aim to review the price in the Autumn 2024 term.
Our school meals are provided by the catering company. Edwards and Ward Occasionally there may be changes to the below menus for special theme days such as bonfire night or family and Christmas dinners. When this occurs we aim to will notify parents/carers ahead of time via text message and/or flyer.
Please note that we do not serve beef in any of our meals, and where beef is mentioned on a menu, this is replaced with lamb, turkey or a vegetarian alternative.

Our school menu runs in a three-week cycle. Please check the dates below to see which weekly menu is currently in use. Our catering company, Chartwells will continue using the below menus in the Summer 2023 term until further notice.

An online application form is available at www.staffordshire.gov.uk/freeschoolmeals.
We currently only accept payments by cash or cheque which can be paid daily, weekly or monthly.
A child's school meal costs £2.95 per day or £14.75 per week.
Please make cheques payable to Staffordshire County Council.
Breakfast club and payments
Our school offers children breakfast on arrival and snack during morning break with the option for either toast or fruit. We do ask for a voluntary contribution of £1 to 2 per week. If paying for snack by cheque, please make them payable to Chasetown Community School.
