COVID-19 has changed the way we live, work and learn. Staffordshire County Council is aware that family life is harder at the moment, with families facing increased pressure on the household budget and it does not want anyone to be left hungry because of COVID-19 this winter. You can find out more about how the County Council is seeking to help families below.

Christmas eVoucher:
This winter, Staffordshire County Council, through funding from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), will be providing families of children who are in receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals and attend a Staffordshire Education Setting, with a £30 eVoucher for the Christmas School Holidays. Each individual, eligible child will be entitled to a £30 eVoucher. Before the end of term, you will receive a link directly from the School where you will be able to select an eVoucher from a supermarket of your choice. You will be able choose from ASDA, Morrisons, Tesco, Sainsburys, Marks & Spencers or Waitrose. The eVoucher code will be displayed on-screen and can be downloaded. If you do not have access to a phone or email, the School will be able to collect your eVoucher.

Your District Family Hub:
Our Family Hubs are helping individuals and families who need food and supplies. If you need some help to buy food because of COVID-19, we may be able to help you. We will be able to put you in touch with people and organisations across Staffordshire who are helping people to find food supplies. We may also be able to help some families with supermarket eVouchers. Our team of Family Hubs will do everything we can to help you, so please contact your Family Hub:-
