As you may already be aware, KS2 SATS tests will take place the week beginning Monday 8th May. The tests
will begin on Tuesday 9th May as Monday the 8th is now a bank holiday. SATs tests are designed and set by
the Government for all Year 6 pupils in the country.

The tests will take place each morning from Tuesday to Friday of that week as follows:

Tuesday 9th May Spelling + Grammar and Punctuation
Wednesday 10th May Reading
Thursday 11th May Maths-Arithmetic + Maths-Reasoning and Problem Solving
Friday 12th May Maths-Reasoning and Problem Solving 2

We aim to make the tests as stress free as possible for all Year 6 pupils. As a school we always put more
emphasis on the other achievements that they have accomplished throughout their time at Chasetown
Community School.
