On the 27th April 2013, Mrs Sproston and Mrs Westoby flew over to India to visit our partner school: Modern Public School in New Delhi. While there, they had the chance to help, teach and experience schooling in India. During this time there were also opportunities for pupils from both schools to contact each other and find out about life and school in another country. All of our classes took part in a blog where they could both ask and receive questions, such as what lessons they like and what games they play. On Wednesday our children had the chance to talk to Mrs Sproston and Mrs Westoby live from India and pose their questions to them. Finally on Thursday pupils from both schools took part in a live video chat. This included a question and answer session as well as a lesson on how to count to ten in Hindi from the Indian children and Indian dancing from both groups.
